The Sabores Cauca Blend is a washed blend, produced by smallholder farmers in the Cauca region through the ASPROFECH association. ASPROFECH, founded in 2013, includes 70 male and 20 female members representing 60 families from San Luis municipality in Eastern Cauca. These producers, of indigenous and Afrolatino descent, cultivate coffee at elevations between 1500 and 2000 meters above sea level.

The association was established to help producers earn more from their coffee’s quality, as they recognized their coffee’s unique characteristics compared to nearby regions. ASPROFECH continues to focus on improving farm sustainability and quality through local and external support. The farms are located near the UNESCO World Heritage site of Tierradentro National Archeological Park, with ideal climate and topography for diverse agricultural production.
